My History
My routes stem from working in a photo lab in Brighton, where I learnt the fundamentals of photography working alongside professional photographers. I also learnt in depth about film photography and the industry surrounding specialist printing.
In the summers of 2023 and '24, I worked as a photographer at Neilson Resorts for 3 months. This being an active job for future summers, I am mastering how to get the most out of fleeting action moments in the day and developing my portraiture skills in the evening. Through this experience abroad, my approach to portrait photography has become relaxed, as I've found that what's most important on a shoot or at an event is to capture natural moments, helping people not to feel stiff or unrelaxed. These skills I develop in the summer carry over to my work in the winter when the semester starts back up!
